1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PHP Reverse Auction, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the service.

2. Account Registration

To use certain features of the service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

3. Membership and Fees

PHP Reverse Auction requires a monthly membership fee of $9.99. This fee helps us maintain a high-quality marketplace and ensures serious bidders. By purchasing a membership, you acknowledge and agree to:

  • Membership fees are charged monthly
  • Memberships are non-refundable except as outlined in our cancellation policy
  • If you cancel within the first month without using your membership credit, the $9.99 fee will be available as credit toward your next bid
  • We reserve the right to change membership fees with 30 days notice

4. Bidding and Auction Rules

All bids placed on PHP Reverse Auction are legally binding contracts to purchase the item at the bid price if you win. By placing a bid, you agree to:

  • Purchase the item at your winning bid price
  • Complete payment within 24 hours of winning
  • Pick up the item within 7 days of winning (or arrange shipping if available)
  • Not bid on your own listings or engage in shill bidding
  • Not manipulate auction prices or engage in fraudulent activity

5. Price Drop and Bidding Mechanics

PHP Reverse Auction operates as a reverse auction platform with the following mechanics:

  • Items start at a maximum price and decrease by 7% every hour until a bid is placed
  • When a bid is placed, the price is frozen at the current amount
  • A 7-minute bidding window begins when the first bid is placed
  • Each subsequent bid within the window increases the price by 7%
  • The auction closes when no bids are placed for 7 minutes
  • If an item reaches its minimum price without bids, it resets to the starting price

6. Item Condition and Pickup

All items are sold in the condition specified in the listing (New, Used, Refurbished, or Scratch & Dent). Items must be picked up within 7 days of winning. Failure to pick up an item will result in:

  • Forfeiture of the winning bid
  • The item being relisted
  • Potential suspension or termination of your account
  • No refund of membership fees or credits

7. Payments

We accept multiple payment methods including PayPal, e-transfer, cryptocurrency, and Wise. All payments must be completed within 24 hours of winning an auction. Failure to complete payment may result in account suspension and the item being offered to the next highest bidder.

8. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

  • Use the service for any illegal purpose
  • Bid on your own listings or create fake accounts to manipulate prices
  • Fail to complete purchases after winning auctions
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use automated systems or bots to place bids
  • Share your account credentials with others

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease.

10. Limitation of Liability

PHP Reverse Auction is not responsible for the condition of items sold on the platform. All items are sold as-is. We recommend inspecting items before bidding. In no event shall PHP Reverse Auction be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the new terms on the site. Your continued use of the service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
